The Inaugural “Strike-A-Chord” Golf Outing benefitting Ohio All-State Student Scholarships held at Chapel Hill Golf Course was a Swinging Success! The Ohio Foundation for Music Education held its inaugural “Strike-A-Chord” Golf Outing on Monday, June 18th at the beautiful Chapel Hill Golf Course.   The sunshine was out with the 9:30 am shotgun start and all of the 73 golfers enjoyed a picture perfect day of golf!

After a great day out on the green, the golfers gathered for the Chapel Hill famous pork chop dinner at the course shelter where several prizes were awarded to various golfers for their great team and individual golfing abilities!

In attendance from the Ohio Foundation for Music Education were Board members Dave Koehler, President, along with Lynne Gerace, Gene Warman, Terry Herschman, and the OFME Development Director, David Adamson.

Special thanks to our 2018 Golf Committee, Kathy McGrady, Phil Louden, Rob Cintron, and Brian Stevens for their help in championing our outing and giving of their time and resources plus securing golf packages and other items used for prizes.

Additional thanks to Roger Hall,Executive Director, Ohio Music Education Associationand David Adamson, Development Director, Ohio Foundation for Music Education for donating their time and prize winning smiles and to OMEA Director of Technology, Greg Taylor for daily updating the website about our Golf Event. Thanks also to Brian Bridges,Manager at Chapel Hill Golf Course & Staff for guiding us through our first Golf Outing.
